Tune into one of Bowen's wild places on a meditative sound walk with naturalists and musicians Nova Pon and Christiaan Venter. We'll practice listening deeply with a focus on the immediate acoustic environment. Going slowly together we'll notice subtle and not-so-subtle sounds that we might normally overlook and how they combine into each unique soundscape . Dress for the weather and for moving slowly and quietly -- no dogs please.
Event may be rescheduled if it looks like rain will mask much of the rest of the soundscape!
