Mt. Gardner Summit Hike via Handloggers

Alan Whitehead and Melissa Harrison led 6 other nature lovers on a misty mountain hike up Mt. Gardner via Handloggers Trail where they saw an abundance of fungi throughout the forest.

Annual General Meeting and Family Potluck

At the recent AGM, Nature Club members, old and new, enjoyed a delicious potluck followed by Adam Taylor’s amazing footage from his dives around Bowen Island. From heavily armoured Puget Sound king crabs, adorable candy stripe shrimp to curious giant Pacific octopi, Adam revealed the amazing underwater ecosystems all around us. His familiarity with the animals and their behaviour gave us tremendous insight into this hidden world that’s all around us and a new appreciation of its complexity and beauty.
